As Leeds Golf Centre’s Junior Academy goes from strength to strength under the expert eye of PGA professional, Josh Hirst, we are delighted to announce a series of day-long tuition sessions for the forthcoming June half term holiday.
With numbers swelling in our regular junior groups, it seems that golf is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance at ‘grass roots’ level. Engaged by the alluring style and brilliance of Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and friends, children across the area are flocking to enjoy the opportunity to make new friends and develop essential golf skills in a fun, safe and relaxed environment here at Leeds Golf Centre – a fact we are very proud of.
The Jubilee Bank Holiday/half term break will no doubt be a busy time for parents and grandparents but our day-long camps should provide some respite – priced at just £30 including lunch, the sessions run daily from Monday 4 June to Friday 8 June (10am to 4pm) and cover all aspects of golf from putting and full shots to rules and etiquette.
In addition, for the more established junior golfers, Tuesday 5 June is the date for the first round of the inaugural Parklane Junior Masters series – click here to download the form for information or to enter (the event coincides with a junior medal for members).
For full details of what the school holiday programme will consist of in terms of topic area or for more general enquiries about the Junior Academy, please email josh@leedsgolfcentre.com or call the Pro Shop on 0113 288 6000.
T&Cs: Payment for the day-long tuition sessions must be made at time of booking. Date amendments must be given at least 48 hours prior to avoid forfeiture of fees.
