Our Inaugural Up To Scratch Members Challenge Will Start In April

Ladies and gents, our valued members of Leeds Golf Centre, we’re starting our inaugural Up To Scratch Members Challenge this April and we want you to be involved.

Not only will you having the chance to improve your golfing skills with our PGA pros but you could also be in with the chance of winning your next year’s membership for free!

Here’s what you need to know…

What Is the Up To Scratch Members Challenge?

Our Up To Scratch Members Challenge is our first members only challenge where we welcome ladies and gents to take part in a 16 lesson course delivered by our PGA pros, Joe, Chris, Ellie, and Duncan The specially tailored programme has been devised by the Academy staff.

Sessions are 1 hour long and will take place twice a week and the challenge is open to full and 5-day members of the Wike Ridge golf club, with an active handicap on the start date of the challenge.

The winner of the challenge, which will be announced on 1st August, will be the player who has reduced their handicap by the greatest percentage from the start of the challenge.

What dates and times does the challenge happen?

Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm. The Up To Scratch Challenge will begin on 3rd April 2018 and will end on 24th May.

What can I win?

If you’re the player who reduces their handicap by the greatest percentage from the start of the challenge, you will receive a free 12 month full membership worth £950. This will be valid from 1st April to 31st March 2020.

How much does it cost?

The challenge costs £200 and we are limited to entrants so it’s first-come, first served! Even if you don’t win the free membership, the Up To Scratch Challenge is a great way to improve your golfing skills and take your game to the next level.
