Up To Scratch

Fancy getting into golf? Go from zero to hero in our FREE 7 week Up to Scratch programme! We’ll provide everything you need at no cost – including clubs, balls & 14 sessions with our amazing pros! But be fast, there are only 16 spaces available!

The chosen 16 beginners will receive 14 hours of tuition over a 7 week period throughout June and July, culminating in a three-hole knockout event, taking place on Sunday 23rd July at Leeds Golf Centre where they will showcase their newfound skills.

Joe Feather, PGA Professional and Leadbetter Instructor at Leeds Golf Centre, explains; “We’re putting our expertise to the test for a second year running by demonstrating just what can be achieved under the tuition of our Leadbetter Golf Academy instructors. We are very passionate about making golf a more accessible sport to beginners and those considering taking up a new interest and believe our first-class facilities and world class instruction provide an ideal environment to learn the game”.

Golfing novice Craig Bull from Seacroft, Yorkshire won the first ever Up to Scratch Challenge at Leeds Golf Centre in 2016. He described his win: “I’m sure I speak for everyone in the group when I say the tuition was phenomenal and it’s been hugely rewarding to go from a complete beginner to a confident player in just a number of weeks. The challenge has changed my whole perception of golf and I would strongly recommend playing.”
